Fan Art Month 07 - Buri (Guilty Gear XX) - C, E Buri! ^.^ He's... well... Bridget. Does anybody not know this character? I was mostly gonna keep Fan Art Month to underappreciated characters, but Yoruichi and Soi Fong already had to go on the list, and I've only ever drawn one Buri before. If anybody doesn't know, Bridget is a crossdressing, yoyo-wielding, handcuff-wearing, teddybear-toting schoolgirl-nun who has done more to erode the heterosexuality of male anime/videogame fans than every CLAMP manga combined. I am a cheat for rehashing an old concept, but hey, the old one seemed popular (for the content, I expect, not the art quality) and I always wanted to revisit it - I drew it before I really knew the character, and let's be honest, Bridget is definitely more of the sassy type than shy ;p |

Fan Art Month 10-11 - Dreamcast Days (SoulCalibur, Sonic the Hedgehog & Eternal Arcadia) - C, E In an effort to catch up on my Fan Art Month idea, I stuck Ivy and Enrique in the same pic ^^ I was going to throw Marron in too, but that was kind of lacking a theme, so in the end, I stuck Tails in there instead - Fan Art Month bonus :p These three are pretty much defining characters (for me, that is) of my favourite console, the Dreamcast. I loved it so. Sonic Adventure and SoulCalibur were the sole reasons I got one, and Eternal (Skies of) Arcadia I ran into entirely by chance, since it was on special. Loved them all to bits ^_^ Ivy, of course, is Ivy. She's not lacking in fan art, given her fanservicey outfit, but she's a great character as well - a really strong and confident woman, and a great antihero with a really touching story ending in SC2. Must draw her more with Sophitia. And Tails needs no introduction, I'm sure (and incidentally, is just sooo adorable with his Japanese voice and fuzzy chest and Rythm Brooch ^.^). Enrique is probably somebody that most of you haven't heard of, and even in his own game he was a more minor character than the trio of Vyse, Aika and Fina. But as you may have noticed, Fox is an absolute sucker for exiled princes, especially if they happen to be all poncy and righteous and naive (and spend the first half of their time with you being seasick ;p). His dub voice was teeth-grindingly horrible, but so was everybody else's. I love him and his stupid pants and his stupid boots and his stupid hat. And the fact that Ivy would scare the hell out of him :D |

Fan Art Month 13 - Matsumoto (Bleach) - C, E Matsumoto is freaking hard to draw - setting aside how tricky it is to imitate Kubo Tite's art style in a way which looks even vaguely good, she's a really unique-looking character. Her eyes and hair, and that mole, make her really tricky to get right. And then there's the debate between drawing uberly sexalicious nekkid Matsumoto (you may have noticed that she has somewhat large breasts, no?), Hitsugaya-teasing devil-woman Matsumoto, and awesome shinigami badass Matsumoto. In the end, I went with the first choice, but purely because I'm lazy and nekkid is easier to draw ^^; |

Namira + KJ (Commission) - O, E A commission for one Kjatar Tavishen, from over FurAffinity way ^^ He's donning the harem-dancer look while his sexy girlfriend, Namira, asserts herself as being on top ;p This isn't actually the finished version of the pic, but I forgot to scan it before I mailed it off, so oh well ^^; You get the idea :p |

Fifty Percent Male, Bitches! (Pokémon) - C, H So, it shits me up the wall that people insist on referring to Elblade as "the male gardevoir". Geez, get it right: gardevoir is 50% female, 50% male - always has been, and will continue to be! Elblade may be male-only, but that doesn't make male gardevoir any less common! So to everybody who sees my grade-boy pictures and makes stupid comments like "nice, but I think gardevoir is female-only", kindly get your facts straight or shut the hell up! XP This is my garde, Atelier, pictured with Sacha the Lopunny/Mimilop (because they are always drawn female as well, despite being 50% male) and Risu the Pachirisu (because I didn't think of Milotic in time XP). |

Matsumoto - Lucky Haineko (Bleach) - C, E It so happens that I have gotten myself into the Artist Circle at a con next month (which is why it's smaller than normal)! It was kind of unexpected, so now I'm really havin g to rush to draw stuff that's worth printing XP Which is why I took another shot at Matsumoto here, and holy shit, I actually did a good job O.o I am hugely please with this picture. Watch for colour soon. Now if only I could draw Yoruichi too... |

Kurt Bondage (redux) (X-Men: Evolution) - C, H Like the previous pic, this was a spur-of-the-moment attempt at a pic for the con, and I was really surprised that it came out well ^.^ Obviously, it's a remake of my earlier bondagey Nightcrawler - I never was happy with the rope in the first one.
