Fox Lee here - I'll be your webmaster for this site, where you'll find a collection of information, maps, profiles, stories, art and other stuff related to the furry erotica project, Furbidden Realms. Be aware that this site contains work intended for mature audiences only; if you did not see a disclaimer/warning message, please click here. Also, consider downloading the very cool fonts Intimacy (by Emerald City Fontwerks) and 18th Century (by Douglas) for best viewing. Speaking of best viewing, we recommend the site be viewed in Mozilla Firefox, but have tried to make it compatible with IE7 as well; however, the dropdown menu won't work for IE browsers, so just use the main menu links to see submenu pages ^^

WHAT HAPPENED TO THE FR DREAM? Long story short, Fox's computer died, taking the existing HorNet's Nest dream, and the bot that operated it, with it. She's in the process of rebuilding it, since she had an earlier version of the map on file, but she's still having to reconstruct the patch and the bot, so it will take some time. On the bright side, she has a dedicated server available for when the dream is ready to go up again, so it should be much more reliable!

LAST UPDATES:

2009-02-01: A much overdue update, but lots of stuff! A ton of new pics in the sketches and inks galleries, from Fox and Jason.

2007-11-18: A small update with new inks from Jason and new sketches from Fox, as well as a fixed up "cameos" section for recurring characters who aren't Realms regulars.

2007-09-18: Notice any changes? Hopefully not, since this update was entirely under-the-hood. The site has been converted to (very basic) php, to finally make the menus and credits much easier to change. Hopefully I'll be able to convert the gallery at a later stage, but this is a good start. And please, if you notice any errors in the conversion, let me know!

ABOUT US: To give you a brief history, Furbidden Realms was born in 2002, when artists Fox and Talen Lee were dealing with the inevitable boredom and poverty that comes with tertiary artistic education. Fox had recently discovered the fantastic furry auction site FurBid (now FurBid-SF), and was planning a myriad of smutty furry art to create and sell there. However, Fox has one great "weakness" when it comes to furrysmut - she doesn't like just drawing random characters. Her art is about expression, about working with characters and telling their stories, so random characters seem lifeless and uninspiring to her.

So, what happened is pretty obvious; they made a world and gave the characters stories, with the help of their best friend and longtime partner-in-crime, Jason Heavensrun. Hopefully, at some stage in the future, they'll have the competence and dedication to follow through and make these stories into entire manga... but until then, please enjoy this current collection of work. It's small, but growing; most of the sections here should be filled out soon. Please, if you enjoy it, consider purchasing a print or commission, or maybe even making a small donation - the FR artists share their work here free of charge and uncensored, but obviously need money to keep things going! ^^;
